For you gamers out there who love playing some multiplayer in Black Ops 2 and I know that there are many people out there who purely play Call of Duty for the amazing multiplayer experience that it offers. Well you my friends can add even more excitement to your games by looking into the League Play. Today we are going to have a little look at just what you can do in this mode and why so many people are hooked on it.
For The Lone Wolves Out There
If you are a person who likes to be alone and do everything yourself then you will probably want to look into the Moshpit Series of League Play. This is a mode that is really ideal for those of you who are not hardcore Call of Duty maniacs or like I said just like to rely on your self to get things done then this is for you.
The main gametypes that you will be playing in the Moshpit Series are modes such as Capture The Flag and Domination. All the games that you will play will be 6v6 so it should be something all Call of Duty players are used to. One thing about the Moshpit Series is that it is very generous in terms of helping you level up. People who lose can get 500 xp and winners will see this doubled.

Team And Solo
The Championship series is cool as it allows for both single and multiplayer. What is really cool is that you and three buddies can make a team and go in there and try and take over. All the games here are 4v4. One very interesting thing here is that this mode does allow solo players, but be warned this is a place where a good team will tear you apart with ease if you are on your own. So yes you can play this by yourself, but it would be a huge task to come out victorious.
Of course there is a Team Deathmatch Series although it was not added until after the release. This mode does not mess around at all. This is all about Team DeathMatch. It plays just like a normal deathmatch. Where you can be solo or 6v6. So either way there will be something here for you. As far as leveling up goes. Once again people on the losing side can expect to get 500 xp and winners can double that.
Is League Play For Me????
I have a few buddies who were a little intimidated to get into league play. But honestly if you have played any Call of Duty multiplayer then you will fit right in here. Crating a class is just the same as you have probably done a thousand times before so there really is nothing to be worried about.
League Play is also good for leveling in BO2. For every win you will receive 10,000 experience points. But, even if you lose, you still earn 7,000 experience points. These XP gains go toward your overall level, not just your League rankings.
The ranking system is very easy to understand as well. All you need to do is play five games in a particular class in order to enter the rankings. You win you move up you lose then you move down it really is that simple.
Above all else the League Play just makes it more fun and it does add that little extra element of excitement to a game of Call of Duty. While you can do it on your own. League Play is just so much fun with a you and a few buddies trying to be the top dogs.
